First, we always say go by your surgeon’s recommendations. However, universally it is 24-48 hrs after your surgery.
Each massage lasts 45 min.
After surgery you should be drinking a minimum of 64 ounces daily.
The first 4 weeks it should be worn 24/7. After that, 12 hrs on and 12 hrs off until week 8. Keep in mind, the longer you wear your faja, the better the results.
The first 3 weeks you should not be sitting at all. After 3 weeks you can sit in increments WITH your BBL pillow. Once you reach week 6 you can begin to sit.
You can begin to notice a fluff around week 4.
You wil need 2 massages daily for the first week. For weeks 2-4 you should be getting a massage 3 times per week. For weeks 4-6 you should be getting a massage twice per week. For week 6-8 you should be getting 1 massage per week. However this could vary depending on each individual and their swelling.

A seroma is a pocket of clear serous fluid that collects under the skin. It is common after surgery.
Pineapples, primarily the core and skin. They are a great source of bromelain, which is an enzyme that helps speed up healing and reduce inflammation. Beets are great for elevating your blood levels and circulation. Avocados are a great “healthy fat” food.
Here at The Post Op Sisters you must be at least 6 weeks post op before we perform any body contouring services.
JP drains should be removed 5-7 days post op. If your surgeon did not remove them at your post op visit and gives you an order to have them removed then The Post Op Sisters can remove them.
While in recovery, refrain from drinking alcohol. It causes swelling.
